The development of Steele Creek Buildings 6 & 7 was a dramatic addition to the previous five buildings making up Steele Creek Commerce Park. The 120,000 SF and 137,100 SF industrial buildings were tied into the modified existing master stormwater detention system and were quickly permitted through City of Charlotte and NCDENR. Though the project schedule was expedited by designing and permitting Buildings 6 & 7 simultaneously, the buildings were designed to be built in sequence, with erosion control and stormwater functioning as individual buildings and for both buildings in tandem.
